Visual Impact Productions, LLC (VIP) is a creative production company with over 25 years of experience in creative staging of live events, video production and technical production management. Tom Madden, president, founded the company in 2007 after a successful career producing for two local production companies that serviced the association and corporate markets. He began producing videos and event staging for associations in 1990.
Tom is involved in many local organizations that give back to the community to include; ASAE and the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce, where he currently serves on the board of directors, Catholic Business Network, St. Joe’s men’s society and many others. He feels that giving back to the community where he lives is important.
VIP focuses on consulting local associations and corporations on their creative video solutions and placement of media strategy as it relates to recruitment, training, marketing, branding, and overall video communications.

Tom has been in the creative production and video business for 25 years. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland where he received a BS in Business/Marketing. He founded Visual Impact Productions after successfully producing hundreds of events and media projects for two local DC companies.

Bryan McLamara has been a professional cinematographer and editor for over 20 years. His love for film and television drives his passion to create compelling and dramatic videos. Born and raised in Northern Virginia, he started making his own short films at a young age. His love for movies and television drove him to learn all he could about video and film production.
He is an accomplished cameraman and editor as well as a producer. He has worked on a multitude of marketing, branding and training videos, awards shows, and web videos for large national associations as well as local corporations. In addition, he enjoys helping small to medium business owners grow their business with marketing videos for their web site and social media platforms.
Loren is an English professor turned freelance copywriter. After earning a PhD in English from the University of California, Los Angeles, she worked as a college English professor and a grant writer before turning to working with associations and corporations. She focuses on video scripting, storyboarding, blogging, web content and newsletters.
She specializes in bringing the substance and heart of your organization’s message to life with warmth, professionalism, and an audience-centered approach that helps translate complex material into easy-to-understand content.
Her work spans a variety of industries, but she has particular expertise in writing for nonprofit and healthcare clients.
